What is this?

The Black Joy Parade is a hyper-positive non-profit that celebrates the Black experience and community's contribution to history and culture with its signature parade and celebration, partnerships and events. This will be the third time that Hundreds Unit is participating in the parade.

Who is invited?

As the Hundreds Unit mission suggests, here are our criteria to join us:

​

1. You are a woman who wants to perform. 

2. You are between the age of 20 and 80. Age is just one's perspective. 

3. Dance experience does NOT matter. You can be an Alvin Ailey grad or have two left feet.

4. You can be any size or shape.

5. All ethnicities are encouraged to join.

As you can see, there really are no criteria. We meet you where you are and provide you with an all-inclusive experience that is fun and empowering.
